concentrated funnel and filter paper
nitric acid
blue litmus paper
concentrated
sulfuric acid
distilled water
1@X05)@X08 Pour 10 cc of concentrated sulfuric acid into the beaker@X05.@X08 Add to this
10 cc of concentrated nitric acid@X05.@X08
2@X05)@X08 Immediately add 0@X05.@X085 gm of cotton@X05,@X08 and allow it to soak for exactly 3
minutes@X05.@X08
3@X05)@X08 Remove the nitrocotton@X05,@X08 and transfer it to a beaker of distilled water
to wash it in@X05.@X08
4@X05)@X08 Allow the material to dry@X05,@X08 and then re@X05-@X08wash it@X05.@X08
5@X05)@X08 After the cotton is neutral when tested with litmus paper@X05,@X08 it is ready to
be dried and stored@X05.@X08
